Assembling the Skirt
Take your fabric and fold it into quarters. (Fig. 22)

1. Line the skirt up with the folded edge (the selvages should be on the other side).
   
2. Cut the pattern out.
   
3. Sew up the sides. (Fig. 23)
   
4. Hem the skirt.
   
5. Cut one waistband on the fold.
   
6. Sew the short sides of the waistband.
   
7. Attach the waistband to the skirt. (Fig. 24)
   
8. Add a snap at the back to hold the waistband up.
