Make an Arm Pattern

1. Turn your guide sheet portrait and re-tape it. (Fig. 5)
   
2. Center the diameter of the wrist on the line.
   
3. Draw a straight line the length of the underarm on both sides. (Fig. 6)
   
4. Start at the center line and measure the distance to the top line. Mark this with a dot.
   
5. Draw a curved line connecting the lines through the mark at the top. (Fig.7)
   

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Congrats! You have successfully created what is known as a sloper, or second skin. From this you can create any pattern you need for your Muppet.
